Philip Wayne Snyder Philip W. Snyder, 55, of Burke, Virginia, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at home. Born October 8, 1948, in Ohio, he was a graduate of East Liverpool High School (Ohio), received a Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, and an M.B.A. from Kent State University (Ohio). He was owner and operator of Phil Snyder Consulting, a management consulting firm in Fairfax County, Virginia, and was an avid golfer. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Emily Ann Beter Snyder; two daughters, Kristen Marie Snyder of Watertown, Mass. and Kimberly Ann Snyder of Fairfax, Virginia; and his sister, Linda (Vincent) Wright of Yardley (PA). Preceding him in death were his parents Wayne & Agnes Burroughs Snyder. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 6, from 7-9 PM in the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., a family owned and operated funeral home, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 7, at 1:00 PM in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1150 Leishman Avenue, New Kensington. Co-officiating will be his uncle, Father Gregory Ofiesh of San Francisco and Father Joel Gillam, pastor of St. George Church. Trisagion services will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 7:30 PM.
